Our Solar-Powered Bike Hauler has made it to its new home!
Delivery took a little while, but that's bound to be the case when you're looking to get on the same page as a cross-country travelin', bike-riding, always-on-the-go family! After a lot of hard work and some very interesting modifications, we handed over our biggest project yet, a solar-powered Team Bicycle Hauler.
The Karch's are really excited to the the trailer for their travels from Virginia to California, and back again! Armed with all the bikes and gear they need to keep an adventure like that fun, they're getting excited to get back on the road.
You can see more about this project on the blog. Suffice it to say, we hadn't ever wired solar panels to a bike trailer, nor cut out stowaway space in the floor, or installed a mini-fridge, but now that we have, you know what? It almost seems crazy not to!
We're really happy to see this thing come together and for such a cool family to be putting it to good use. If you see the up.bike logo pop up across the country, you can be sure it's Mike and Kim taking their family to cool new places.
