Have installed one vertical and one horizontal rail. The vertical rail was only slightly more complicated to hang, given that it's vertical--the place I needed to hang it wasn't near a stud. Not a problem, beefy wall anchors did the trick, and it was still easy to install. Just a minor point for people to consider--the horizontal rail will span studs in your wall, the vertical rail may not (just because that's how walls are built :) The bike hanger fits into the slots tightly--you have to finesse it in there a bit (whereas the wheelie hangers on the horizontal rail go in easier), but that's not a complaint, just an observation. It wasn't difficult, and the bike isn't going anywhere. Very happy with the whole assembly, also looks great.
